Party  Pool
Pool Dye
It’s perfectly safe, non-toxic, non-staining and non-caustic,
but it’s 100% fun!
Enhances water features too. And while it's coloring your
pool water, it also acts as a powerful water clarifier!

Super-concentrated; one 8-oz. bottle treats an average
20,000-gallon pool twice, and the pool water color will last
for 3–5 days, and simply filters out.

Party Pool dye has no smell, taste or residue left on
swimmers. There is no harm if your swimmers swallow pool
water treated with Party Pool dye.
stain and scale
treatments & preventions
There are many different types and various stages of stains.  It is important
that the source of the stain(s) be identified -  stains are generally caused by
metals in your water.
Most stains if caught early enough will disappear or fade considerably after a
vigorous chemical treatment such as a
Jack's Magic sequestrant or United
Chemical pool stain treat.  Both are highly effective and safe for your surface.

Scale is a crusty white deposit that can result in rough pool and spa wall
surfaces.  Calcium scale (calcium carbonate) is more likely to occur at
locations where there is water evaporation or high temperatures.

There are scale preventative and treatment products available that can be
added to the water. We trust Jack's Magic and also use a product called
Orenda on a regular basis.  Cleaners with a low pH(acidic) are often used to
remove scale from surfaces.
pump circulation
Pump circulation time will vary depending on the size of your pool
and the season.  Winter time you can generally get away with
running your pool pump for about 6 hours on a 6,000 - 15, 000
gallon pool, larger pools should run longer.   In the summer time,
you should set your timer to run about 8 -10 hours.
It's very important to make sure that all the water in your pool has
had time to circulate through the filter.

If you have any problems with your timer or any questions about
the size of your pool, please give us a call.
check your water
levels!
If you are out in your back yard oasis and you hear a loud sucking noise, that is
not air going through your nostrils, it's your skimmer!
When your water level is too low, your skimmer will suck air putting strain on your
pump equipment.  Pool pump motors have been known to over heat and seize up
because of the strain low water levels put on it.

Low water levels can be caused by evaporation, (especially in the summertime
heat!) or from a small leak.  Usually from around the pool light area or skimmer
area.  If you find yourself continually putting water in your pool, give us a call for
some minor leak detection tips and see if repairs are needed.
